Jr Rookies / Mile High Mites - Beginner Hockey For Ages 4-14!
Our Junior Rookies and Mile High Mites ice sessions are focused on helping beginners find their love for the game of hockey. Teaching basic skills and hockey etiquette with loaner gear available, it's the BEST way to introduce your child to hockey!
Junior Rookies runs all year round and Mile High Mites is only run 2 - 3 times per year! Mile High Mites has a hard start and stop date and also comes with new gear. See the Mile High Mites tab for more information.
- Jr. Rookies, most Saturdays at 9.45 am - East Rink*
- Ages 4-14
- Kids will be placed in instruction groups based on age and skill level and moved as they learn
- Girls-only groups are available!
Free loaner equipment is available!
- Loaner gear is primarily geared toward players between the age of 4 and 14 years old. We may have some gear for older players, but not much. Please reach out to Coach Al in advance if you have an older player.
- Anyone arriving the day of their session who does not have gear may be turned away depending on the age/size of their player due to limitations on gear.

NEW REGISTRATION PROCESS
Our Jr Rookies Membership is moving to a new platform! We are excited to integrate Jr Rookies with EZ Facility - which will allow you to manage Monument Ice Rinks session booking in one place for your whole family!
How to Register -
- Create an account in your skater's name on EZ Facility - monumentice.ezfacility.com
We have 2 different punch card options -
1) Single Session - perfect to try the sport for the first time! $15 per session.
2) 10 Pack - $120 for 10 pack (equivalent to $12 per session)
Sessions do not expire and are shareable between siblings (please ensure each skater has their own profile in EZ)
- Reserve sessions for your skater using the Book Sessions tab on EZ Facility. Use the Filter function to toggle between family members.

Q - Can I join any time?
A - Yes! Players may join at any time. Jr Rookies runs year-round.
Q - I don't have gear for my child - can I borrow or rent it?
A - Yes! We have free loaner gear available. Please contact Coach Al to arrange prior (at least 48 hours in advance) to your first session.
Q - My child has never skated, is this program suitable?
A - Yes! This program is designed for complete beginners to learn the game of hockey.
Q - Do you pro-rate or refund payments?
A -We do not offer refunds, but our punch cards are stored in your skater's account, so they may attend whenever they would like, even after taking a little break.

8U Players
8U Players can join the Colorado Rampage Mite Hockey Program!
Highlights -
- Season-based registration with installment option for payment
- Average 8 Ice sessions per month (games and skills sessions)

Players 9 and Older
We have 2 options for our 9+ hockey players -
Colorado Rampage In-House Hockey
This program accommodates 10U - 14U players in a coed setting, with 2 ice sessions per week - usually a combination of skills sessions and local games.
Colorado Rampage Tier 2 / Travel Hockey
This program is a great place for the player who wants to push their competitive play to the max! 10U - 18U coed teams. Up to 3 on ice-practices per week, off-ice conditioning with specialist strength and conditioning coaches, tournaments and Colorado-based league play in the CCYHL.
